  1. Correctness/Balance - Is the horse conformationally correct? Does it have a good balance?
  2. Bloodlines on Both Sire & Dam - If you check the bloodlines of our mares and the stallions we use for breeding, BOTH sides have proven bloodlines. 
  3. Personality –We treat our horses with kindness and respect and in turn, our horses respect us as owners. We strive for that horse to have a loving and kind disposition.
  4. Movement – Can the horse both lope AND jog?
  5. Our Weanlings - We let our weanlings grow naturally into their conformation. We feel that in doing this they won’t have the leg, joint and hoof problems you may see in other weanlings that look oversized for their age. This will give you a healthy, sound prospect for years to come.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SCAMMERS CONTACTING ALLARDS HORSE HAVEN FOR HORSE PURCHASES AND TIPS FOR SELLERS SELLING HORSES** DON'T BE A VICTIM! Scammers are people trying to buy horses for the wrong reasons! Usually these come from inquiries sent to the seller from a third party regarding the purchase of a horse. This inquiry commonly attempts to arrange the purchase of the horse (trailer, truck or any other article posted on the internet for sale) with a cashiers or certified check covering the price of the horse and shipping. After the horse has been shipped, they commonly ask you to refund the shipping charges as part of a "finders fee" arrangement. Unfortunately, the cashier's check that is sent is counterfeit. This fact is not uncovered until the horse and the "finders fee" have been forwarded to the scam artists.

To protect yourselves and others against this type of activity, it is important to try and obtain as much information about the buyer as possible. If you suspect the buyer may be involved in this or similar scams, please forward any information you can obtain to http://www.ic3.gov. All scammers contacting AHH will be reported!
